14th Feb, the day of love has been celebrating as Valentine’s Day from several centuries around the World. All lovers wait for this day to express their affection. The day is dedicated for lovers, who approach their feelings to their crush. At present Valentine’s Day celebration is for all, lovers, friends, couples, sisters, brother even parents. Everyone makes this day their own way. There are 7 more days preceded by Valentine’s Day, starting from 7th Feb. These all days are as popular as Valentine’s Day, every singles day known by certain name.

1. JAPAN : 
SPECIAL CHOCOLATES IN JAPAN 

Japanese Valentine’s Day is not like as others, they celebrate the day in special way. In Japan there is a tradition that woman give chocolates & gifts to their love one. Women gift two types of chocolate, Giri-choco and Honmei-choco to their men. Giri-choco (valentine special chocolate) is not related to any kind love or affection. This chocolates is for friends, collogues, and other male person. And Honmei-choco is only made for couples. Japanese women make it by their own hand. They think that handmade Honmei-choco has power for their long lasting relationship.

2. FINLAND :
CELEBRATING FRIEND'S DAY

In all over the world, people celebrate Valentine’s Day with their lover. Couples spend lot of money to present gifts and feel their crush special. But in Finland Valentine’s Day is not like that. Here people celebrate 14th Feb as a Friend’s Day and prefer to enjoy the day with other friends.

3. PORTUGAL :

In Portugal there is a unique way to celebrate 14th Feb or Valentine’s Day. There Valentine’s Day is known as the Day of Enamored or Lover’s Day. Woman expresses their affection by giving handmade handkerchief to their lovers.

4. SOUTH KOREA :

CELEBRATING WHITE DAY ON 14 MARCH 

In South Korea, people enjoy 14th Feb as Valentine’s Day with lot of chocolates and candies. In this time shopkeepers decorate their shop with chocolates like Ferrero Rocher, Cadbury, candy etc. Couples celebrate two kind of Valentine’s Day in South Korea, one happens on 14th Feb, where women present gifts to their men. Other one is known as White Day, it is celebrated on 14th March, where men present gifts to their women as a return gift of Valentine’s Day.  

5. LEBANON :
MARRIAGE PROPOSAL

In Lebanon, couples express their love by exchanging cards, chocolates, roses & gifts. They prefer to spend their time with their love. Lebanese people celebrate their Valentine’s Day in a special way. Man asks woman for dinner and there he gives her gifts and proposes for marriage. Families also take part for celebration of Valentine’s Day.

6. PARIS :
FRONT OF "I LOVE YOU" WALL

They say Paris is the most romantic city in the world. Everyone wants to go to Paris at least once in their lifetime. Paris is the perfect place to propose and say I LOVE YOU to love person. The 14th Feb celebration in Paris has unique style.  Couples make kisses under the Eiffel Tower, meet front of the wall of “I LOVE YOU” in the Square Jehan Rictus. To make that day perfect they go for cruise dinner.

7. CHINA :
DOUBLE SEVENTH FESTIVAL IN CHINA

Chinese celebrates their Valentine’s Day according their lunar month. In Chinese calendar Double Seventh Festival is called as Chinese Valentine’s Day. This traditional festival will happen on 7 August 2019 this year.

8. SWEDEN :
ALL HEARTS' DAY
In Sweden, Valentine’s Day is call as Alla hjärtans dag or "All Hearts' Day". Sweden couples celebrate that day with their special person. They present special gifts, rose and chocolate to their crush.

9. ISRAEL :
CELEBRATION OF Tu B'Av

In Israel people celebrate Valentine’s Day not like the others do. They celebrate Valentine’s Day with live concert, dating with romantic dinner, go and enjoy friend’s parties. There is another love day on august which called Tu B’Av. They also celebrate that day as summer Valentine’s Day.

10. PAKISTAN :
SAY NO! TO VALENTINE'S DAY 

14th Feb is not only for love, it also a day of friendship. According to Pakistani news, Pakistani High court banned 14th Feb as a Valentine’s Day celebration in the country.
