Ornaments have been used since
ancient times. Most of them were made of iron, gold and silver. Many of these ornaments used to wear by mostly kings,
queens and other valuable person. But tribal people wear unique type of ornaments on their body. They make
these unique ornaments by themselves
to carry their legacy. We all heard about Bangles, Necklaces, Ear-rings, and
Rings. But have you ever heard about Buffalo
teeth necklace, lip-plate, nose-plug, ear-plate,

and from where they belong.

Nose-plug
is a very unique ornament of Apatani tribal groups of Arunachal Pradesh. They
wear it for a special reason. Apatani women wear Nose-Plug when they grow up as adult or after their 1st
Period. But History says that Nose-Plug
is a protector of women. It used to help them look bad or ugly, that does
protect them from greedy People. They wear it on both side of their nose. They
still wear this Nose-Plug to carry
their legacy.

ornament of Kayan people of Thailand. Both male and female wears this Neck-Ring as an ornament. They start to
wear Neck-Ring from their childhood.

it off their throats because it can be risky to remove. Weight of this Neck-Ring can be up to 5 kg.
