Ornaments have been used since ancient times. Most of them were made of iron, gold and silver. Many of these ornaments used to wear by mostly kings, queens and other valuable person. But tribal people wear unique type of ornaments on their body. They make these unique ornaments by themselves to carry their legacy. We all heard about Bangles, Necklaces, Ear-rings, and Rings. But have you ever heard about Buffalo teeth necklace, lip-plate, nose-plug, ear-plate, Coin-ring etc.?  Here we will discuss about these unique types of ornaments and from where they belong.

10. NOSE-PLUG:

NOSE-PLUG ON APATANI WOMAN'S NOSE

Nose-plug is a very unique ornament of Apatani tribal groups of Arunachal Pradesh. They wear it for a special reason. Apatani women wear Nose-Plug when they grow up as adult or after their 1^st Period. But History says that Nose-Plug is a protector of women. It used to help them look bad or ugly, that does protect them from greedy People. They wear it on both side of their nose. They still wear this Nose-Plug to carry their legacy.

9. NECK-RING:

NECK-RING OF THAI TRIBAL WOMAN 

This is a unique ornament of Kayan people of Thailand. Both male and female wears this Neck-Ring as an ornament. They start to wear Neck-Ring from their childhood. They believed that Neck-Ring increase their beauty and make them attractive. Along with age they increase the number of Neck-Ring. They never take it off their throats because it can be risky to remove. Weight of this Neck-Ring can be up to 5 kg.

8. NOSE-BONE:

PAPUAN TRIBE WEAR NOSE-BONE

Hog Nose-Bone is very unique ornament in Papuan tribes. They live in Rainforest of New Guinea of North Australia. Only men wear this Nose-Bone on both side of their nose. Nose-Bone is actually the tusks of male wild pig. Papua people hunt them and take out those tusks for using as ornaments. They also wear various types of bone ornaments to look attractive and strong.  

7. CAP HAIR:

Cap-Hair is very popular ornament of Ethiopian tribe of Africa. Only female wear these type of caps on hair to show their beauty. Actually Cap-Hair is a unique hair style which is decoration of hair with bottle caps and other metallic things. They use to decorate their hair since their childhood.  Ethiopian tribe wears lots of necklace, wrist lace and 1000s of bottle caps to enhance their outer beauty.

COIN-RING ON TRIBAL WOMEN'S FINGER

Coin-Ring is very rare ornament of some Orissa tribes. Only female wear this unique style of finger ring to show their status in society. It is believed in Orissa tribe that only rich people can wear this type of coin ornaments. Coin ornaments are included with necklace, ear-rings and finger-rings. These are actually made by real Indian coins.

5. HEAVY EAR RING:

BIG AND HEAVY EAR-RING 

This is a very famous ornament in Wodaabe women of Africa. Mainly Wodaabe women wear these heavy Ear-Rings to show their beauty. Women wear 9 to 10 big rings on their each ear to enhance their look. These rings are heavy and made with silver or copper. They believe that more they wear this ear ring, they will be more attractive.

We are always attracted by unique and rare things. We never try to explore the reason behind it. There are many flowers on Earth. We can identify some by their color, smell, and blooming time. UNIQUE CREATURES IN THE WORLD

The Earth is full of life itself. Animals and plants have lived here from years. Everyone plays an important role to balance the environment. Although there are many creatures exist on Earth, we know very few things about them. Earth has been the witness to the evolution of animals from the JURASSIC age. Some of the animals live in a specific region, specific climate and unreachable places. These are some of the causes that we still don’t know about many species of animals on Earth. Today we will discuss about some unique animals living in unique regions in the world.

10. PANGOLIN :

Pangolins are one type of anteater and an endangered species in Asia and Africa. They are also known as scaly anteater. These unique creatures are covered in hard, triangle shaped scales from top to bottom. They have a tail behind their body as long as their body length. They eat all kind of insects by their long tongue. All four legs have sharp nails for digging into soil to find food. Pangolins can roll their full body like a ball to protection. Sloths are the slowest animal on Earth. They are actually related to herbivorous but also eat insects in season. Gerenuks are also known as Giraffe gazelle. They almost look like deer except their long tail and long neck. They live in east Africa’s dry savanna.  Gerenuks are able to survive for long period without a drop of water. They are herbivorous and eat various cactus and herbs. Male Gerenuks are identified by their sharp horns. They are in 4^th position on this list.

Bongos are natively found lowland forests of Eastern and Central Africa. They are brown in color with 10 to 15 white straps on their back. Their legs are also banded with the white straps.
